Mr. Ray’s Musical Theater ™ Mr. Ray’s Musical Theater has launched another multicultural program in the Clearwater area to expand their calling for teaching children and adults Visual Arts/Performing Arts. This time around they are working with HEP (The Homeless Emergency Project Inc.), they are currently directing 2 programs. Scenes from Broadway Musical ™ and the Recycle Art Project ® which has the communities cast members rehearsing scenes and developing art projects to be sold at the Holiday Musical Celebration/ Art Exhibit December 1st 2006. Ms. Maria Olan heads up the team in the Recycle Arts department, teaching the children how to prepare their art for and exhibit...it’s an exciting time for all. Mr. ray’s and his team are working on presenting Scenes from The Wizard of Oz and friends...West Side Stories... The Sound of Music & Friends and allot more surprises. It is going to be a grand event...Don’t miss it! HEP’s Mission is to provide homeless individuals and families with housing, food, clothing, and supportive services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. The Homeless Emergency Project, Inc. (HEP) is the largest provider of direct services to the homeless in Pinellas County. As a part of the mission to help the homeless, HEP operates a 240-bed facility where emergency and transitional housing is provided for the temporarily homeless as well as permanent supportive housing for mentally disabled individuals and families. Created as a charitable outreach of Everybody’s Tabernacle Church in Clearwater in 1986, HEP's programs house approximately 1000 people and serve over 55,000 meals to the homeless and very low-income each year. HEP is committed to helping the homeless in a holistic manner, providing a wide variety of much-needed supportive services designed to promote self-sufficiency and independence. Client services are comprehensive and include such components as meals, clothing, physical, mental and dental health services, educational programs, after school and summer enrichment programs for youth, and employment services.
